This advanced testing method poses no risk to the fetus and can be performed as early as 10 weeks into the pregnancy. Results are typically available within 4–7 business days once the appropriate gestational age is reached. The test includes DNA samples from both the alleged father and the mother, incorporating fetal DNA for accurate analysis. Collections consists of a buccal (cheek) swab from the alleged father and a single blood sample drawn from the mother.
